Upper Little Wood River Fuels and Vegetation Management Project

Sawtooth National Forest Blaine, Idaho Ketchum Ranger District

Over the next 10 years, we plan to utilize an adaptive management strategy to apply prescribed fire to reduce fuels and restore and maintain desired vegetation conditions resulting in more characteristic fire behavior in the Upper Little Wood Valley.

Location

Little Wood River Drainage - 12 miles north of Carey, Idaho and 15 miles east of Ketchum, Idaho.
