Custer Telephone Fiber Optic Permit Project

Sawtooth National Forest Custer, Idaho Sawtooth National Recreation Area

In 2003, Custer Telephone was authorized to install a fiber optic cable line along Hwy 75 downriver from Lower Stanley. The proposed action is to issue a new 30-year special use permit authorizing continued use of the existing fiber optic cable.

Location

Adjacent Hwy 75 from Lower Stanley east to FSR 454 (O'Brien), continuing along FSR 454 east to FSR 666 (Slate Creek) and Hwy 75, continuing along Hwy 75 to the Sawtooth NRA border at Thompson Creek.
