Black Pine Shrub Planting Project

Sawtooth National Forest Cassia, Idaho Minidoka Ranger District

This project is an effort to re-establish sagebrush and bitterbrush in portions of the Black Pine Division that have burned in recent wildfires and have not recovered. Planting would be completed by crews using augers or a tractor using a planter.

Location

This project is located in the Black Pine Division of the Minidoka Ranger District in the Black Pine Two fire perimeter on the east side of the division.
