The project removes fuels prior to prescribed burning in plantations 40 yrs & older, and mature natural stands while enhancing cultural & ecological plant species. Shaded fuelbreaks are proposed & temp roads are considered on a case by case basis.
Location
The Project occurs on NFS lands around the Patterson and Donahue Flat, and is located almost entirely within the Katimiin Cultural Management Area.
