Rust Resistant Sugar Pine (RRSP) Maintenance Project

Lassen National Forest Butte; Plumas; Tehama, California Almanor Ranger District

Hand or mechanical thinning around approximately 19 proven rust resistant sugar pine (RRSP) trees to improve their health and vigor and reduce surrounding fuel. Approximately 50 Acres will be treated.

Location

The 19 RRSP are located in different areas across the Almanor Ranger District. For a general discription of the locations of each tree please refer to "Other Project Information."
