Soldier Mountain WUI Project

Lassen National Forest Shasta, California Hat Creek Ranger District

This project is to reduce fuel levels and increase fire resiliency on ~3,000 acres of forested and brush-dominated habitat within the Soldier Mtn. WUI, reforest stands burned in the 2005 Brown Fire, and restore meadow habitat along Soldier Creek.

Location

This project is located near the communities of Glenburn and Dana, California, Township 37 North, Range 4 East, Sections 5%u20138, 17%u201320 and Township 37 North, Range 3 East, Sections 12, 13, and 24.
