Storrie Meadows

Lassen National Forest Butte, California Almanor Ranger District

The Storrie Meadows project is a 220 acre meadow restoration project on National Forest System lands. Colby Creek, Willow Creek West, and Snag Lake meadows were identified for restoration because of their ecological attributes and degraded state.

Location

The Colby & Willow Creek West project areas are roughly 20 air miles SW of Chester, Plumas County, CA. The Snag Lake project area is roughly 2.5 air miles south of Colby and Willow Creek West sites.
