Eagle Lake Weeds and Wildlife Project

Lassen National Forest Lassen, California Eagle Lake Ranger District

Project will treat invasive plant occurrences using an Integrated Pest Management approach. Manual, chemical, biological and/or cultural treatment methods will be adapted to fit changing conditions. Also, 16 Osprey nest platforms will be built.

Location

Project area is in Lassen County CA, W of Eagle Lake, approximately 10 miles NW of Susanville and encompasses approximately 28,300 ac; 26,930 ac of which are on National Forest System lands.
