Popper Vegetation Management Project

Deschutes National Forest Deschutes, Oregon Sisters Ranger District

About 6,000 acres of the project area has been impacted by the 2012 Pole Creek fire. The district has determined that a new proposed action and project will be developed and the Popper project will be canceled.

Location

The proejct area is located south of Sisters, Oregon and includes the highly popular Three Creeks Lake recreation area.
