To continue to provide values and services in the Ringo project area, the Forest Service proposes to reduce tree density and surface fuels in order to restore and maintain a resilient, fire-adapted ecosystem.

Location

30,000 acres south of Wickiup Reservoir, encompassing Ringo Butte and Odell Butte, and directly west of the Forest Service boundary with private land.
