The project would alter the design of the Welcome Station paved path rerouting the trail to cross the Cascade Lakes Highway with an undercrossing near the new trailhead location and continue on the northwest side of the highway about 1 mile west.
Location
West of Bend, Oregon paralleling the Cascade Lake Highway (Hwy 46). The trail connects the Bend Park and Recreation District Haul Road trail to the new Welcome Station Visitor Center.
