This project proposes to plant 23 acres within the 170 acre Cougar Butte fire that burned in May 2017. This area has no viable seed sources for conifers to regenerate native populations.

Location

Cougar Butte is located approximately 10 miles west of the city of Bend on the north side of Skyliners Road.
