Reforestation through planting on approximately 1,000 ac. Needed site prep includes cutting <10"dbh dead and dying trees, machine piling the slash and burning of the piles.

Location

The McKay fire is located approximately 12 miles south of Bend, Oregon. The Newberry National Volcanic Monument is to the east of the planning area.
