Milli Fire Reforestation Project

Deschutes National Forest Deschutes, Oregon Deschutes National Forest All Units

To aid in long term forest recovery about 4,343 acres would be planted and about 2,376 acres would receive site preparation. About 150-200 trees per acre would be planted. Biomass as a forest product could be removed on about 1,888 acres.

Location

The project area is located about four air miles southwest of Sisters, Oregon in the Milli Fire area.
