The project would improve public safety by felling and removing dead and dying trees along 12.5 miles of State Highway 20. Highway 20 is a National Scenic Byway and a major travel route between western and eastern Oregon.

About 11.5 miles of Highway 20 northwest of Sisters, Oregon. About 1 mile of Highway 20 southeast of Sisters, Oregon.
