Dr. Matt Shinderman, a researcher at OSU Cascades, requested a multi-year permit to continue his research on the American pika. Research would consist of mostly field observations and data collection such as temperatures of known habitat locations.
Location
Research will be conducted mostly in the areas of the Lava Butte and Mokst Butte Lava flows south of Bend, OR.
