An expansion of the "Snow Play Zone" was approved in the 2013 EIS however, their recent proposal includes changes that require removing additional trees and installing a 3-tower chairlift and power conduits instead of a "magic carpet" surface lift.
Location
This project proposal is located northeast of the Sunrise Lodge in the Mt. Bachelor ski area, between the lodge and Cascades Lakes Highway. Mt. Bachelor is located about 8 miles southwest of Bend, OR.
