Fremont-Winema National Forest Klamath; Lake, Oregon Silver Lake Ranger District

This project addresses ecosystem restoration in coniferous forest, meadows, riparian areas, aspen stands and other plant communities while reducing high fuel levels and high road densities, and providing forest products.

Location

The project area is entirely within the Silver Lake Ranger District (RD) and almost entirely within Lake County, Oregon (about 910 acres are within Klamath County).
