Fremont-Winema National Forest Lake, Oregon Fremont-Winema National Forest All Units

To improve wildlife habitat conditions and increase the forest resilience to disturbance events on approximately 69,567 acres through small tree thinning, prescribed fire, aspen/mountain mahogany/meadow enhancement, and stream restoration.

Location

The Project Area is located East of Lakeview and South of Highway 140 on Forest Service lands in T38S, R14E; T38S, R15E; T39S, R15E; T39S, R16E; T40S, R15E; T40S, R16E; T41S, R15E; and T41S, R16E.
