Sawtooth Conifer Transplants

Gifford Pinchot National Forest Skamania, Washington Mount St. Helens National Volcanic Monument

It provides areas that the public can be directed to for conifer sapling transplants via permit or contract. About 295 acres are authorized for sapling removal. All work done by hand.

Location

The first area is 145 accres along FSR 30, 24 and 3000-585. The second area is 150 acres along FSR 3000-580, also known as the Berryfield Access Picnic Area.
