North Zone Huckleberry Enhancement

Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest Skagit, Washington Darrington Ranger District

Promote huckleberry growth through the removal of small diameter conifers within approximate 30 acres of existing mixed conifer and huckleberry stands. Project is a partnership with the Swinomish Indian Tribal Community and Sauk-Suiattle Tribe.

The Darrington District site is located near Tupso Lake, above Grade Creek in Skagit County, approximately 11 miles northeast of Darrington, WA
