WSDOT - Stevens Pass Avalanche Snow Road and RAC Towers

Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest King, Washington Skykomish Ranger District

Improve the corridor that has been used as a snow cat road to access avalanche control points on Cowboy Ridge for the last 60 years. This includes some tree removal, vegetation control and excavation to create a bench along several steep side hills.

Location

The snow cat road begins near the Stevens Pass Ski area and travels through the Grace Lakes area to Cowboy Ridge.
