The Crooked River National Grassland is proposing to designate the Skull Hollow Trailhead as a day-use site, prohibiting overnight camping, and rerouting about two miles of the Cole Loop Trail in the vicinity of Skull Hollow.

Skull Hollow Trailhead is on the Crooked River National Grassland, at the junction of Lone Pine road and PU 5710 road across from the Skull Hollow Campground.
