2016 Lower East Beaver Creek LWD Project

Siuslaw National Forest Tillamook, Oregon Hebo Ranger District

The Hebo Ranger District proposes to remove 44 conifer trees for placement into East Beaver Creek for aquatic habitat restoration. Trees from 15-33 inches DBH and at least 90 feet tall would removed with rootwads intact.

Location

The trees are located in the Beaver Creek sub-watershed. Specifically the tree locations are adjacent to Forest Roads 8170, 8170-199, 8171, 8171-111, Township 3 S., Range 9 W., Sections 3, 4, 9,& 10.
