This project is to allow for the salvage cut of between 1661 and 3000 acres to restore areas of the forest which have been affected by southern pine beetle. After the cut these area will be managed on an individual basis for desired future condition.
Location
This projects will span the entire Bankhead National Forest to accommodate for the dispersal of southern pine beetle spots.
