Thin overly dense stands to increase wildlife habitat development, tree growth, forest health and to reduce susceptibility to southern pine beetle. Project area is approximately 7000 acres.

Location

Compartments 15, 16, 17, 18 and 39. The project area is located south of U.S. Highway 29 and Escambia County Road 11 and north of Forest Service Road 305.
