FY2023 Hazard Tree Removal along Highways and Powerlines

National Forests in Alabama Covington, Alabama Conecuh Ranger District

The U.S. Forest Service is proposing to remove dead and dying trees along approximately 10.5 miles of highway and powerline rights-of-way in Covington County. The total acreage is less than 30 acres.

Location

Along several highways and powerlines across the Conecuh National Forest-the main highways includes Alabama Highway 55, Alabama Highway 137, County Roads 2,3,4 and 51, and Giles Road.
