The USDA Forest Service has proposed the thinning of approx. 80 acres of midstory vegetation to promote the presence of herbaceous plants in the understory and improve the quality of the available habitat for numerous sensitive and imperiled species.

Location

Project will occur along Forest Service Road 325 in the general vicinity of Nellie Pond in Covington County.
