The USFS proposes a land exchange in which Columbia Co. and Plum Creek would receive an easement to build 1/3mi. of railroad on the Osceola NF and the USFS would receive an easement for approximately 5mi. of trail (FNST) on Plum Creek land.
Location
The land under USFS jurisdiction is located in the southwestern part of the Osceola NF; the land under Plum Creek jurisdiction is south of the Olustee Experimental Forest.
