National Forests in Florida Baker, Florida Osceola Ranger District

Timber thinning in Forest Compartment 71. These activities will take place in mixed longleaf/slash pine stands to improve habitat for herbaceous groundcover plants and for wildlife.

Location

Forest Compartment 71 is located in the Saint Marys Landscape Analysis area in the central east portion of the Osceola and continue ongoing restoration activities.
