The Forest Service is proposing to acquire 1,588 acres from Davis Land and Timber, Inc. in exchange for 1,436 acres of federal lands. Land use would remain essentially the same on the two land tracts.
Location
The tracts are located in Hard Labor Creek, Cuffytown Creek, Beaverdam Creek and Turkey Creek, east and southeast of McCormick, SC.
