Francis Marion and Sumter National Forests Newberry, South Carolina Francis Marion and Sumter National Forest All Units

Treatment of midstory vegetation by mechanical grinding/shredding on up to 6,222 acres. The objective is to improve/maintain wildlife habitat by reducing vegetation and to treat two areas heavily infested with non-native invasive species.

Location

The project is located primarily in the Indian Creek area but also occurs in other surrounding areas as well.
