Large Wood Additions to Streams/Rivers in the Chauga River Watershed System

Francis Marion and Sumter National Forests Oconee, South Carolina Andrew Pickens Ranger District

This project would add large wood to streams by cutting down some trees and placing them in streams and the Chauga River. The intent is to improve fish and other aquatic habitat by creating pools and providing organic matter for invertebrate species.
