Century Link Fiber Optic Cable from Sugar Grove to Troutdale on State Route 16

George Washington and Jefferson National Forests Grayson; Smyth, Virginia Mount Rogers National Recreation Area

Century Link plans to replace copper cable with fiber optic. It would follow Hwy 16 from Sugar Grove to Troutdale. Most of the cable will be buried but some sections will be on existing poles.
