George Washington and Jefferson National Forests Bland; Wythe, Virginia George Washington and Jefferson National Forest All Units

Proposal to aerially treat one 11,463 acre block with mating disruption pheromones to Slow the Spread of the Gypsy Moth. The treatment includes approximately 6,996 acres of privately held lands and 4,467 acres of National Forest System lands.

Location

Along Walker Mountain approximately 6 miles north of Rural Retreat, VA.
