This a large landscape scale project (500,000) aimed at mitigating hazardous fuels in high risk wildland urban interface areas and restoring fire adapted communities through the use of prescribed fire.

Overall project encompasses over 500,000 acres on mostly the Eastern Divide Ranger District of the George Washington and Jefferson National Forest.
