Ewing Mountain Management Project

George Washington and Jefferson National Forests Carroll; Grayson; Wythe, Virginia Mount Rogers National Recreation Area

Project activities will include commercial timber harvesting, timber stand improvement, prescribed burning, addressing unauthorized vehicle and trail access and wildlife habitat improvement.

Location

The project area is approximately 20 miles south of Wytheville in the Iron Mountain Management Area as identified in the Jefferson Forest Plan.
