The purpose of this project is to restore and manage habitat for the Appalachian Grizzled Skipper utilizing prescribed fire and regeneration harvests.

Location

This project area is located in the center of Alleghany county, approximately 3 miles West of Covington. It can be accessed via Forest Service Road 440 (Harmon road) from State Route 600.
