Hidden Valley Restoration and Management Project

George Washington and Jefferson National Forests Bath, Virginia Warm Springs Ranger District

This project proposes to conduct 7480 acres of prescribed burns, 23.4 miles of trail maintenance, streambank stabilization, replace a low water bridge, maintain early successional habitat and other wildlife habitat improvement actions.

Location

The Hidden Valley Restoration and Management Project is located in and surrounding Hidden Valley of Bath County, on the Jackson River approximately 4 miles west of Warm Springs, Virginia.
