Green Hill Vegetation Project

George Washington and Jefferson National Forests Botetourt; Rockbridge, Virginia Glenwood and Pedlar Ranger Districts

Create early successional and late open canopy conditions to provide a diversity of age classes for wildlife species. The project also proposes timber stand improvement, prescribed burns, and other recreation and wildlife improvement actions.

Location

The project area is located approximately 2 miles southwest of Collierstown and 6 miles northeast of Eagle Rock in Rockbridge and Botetourt Counties, Virginia.
