Priest Privy Replacement

George Washington and Jefferson National Forests Bath, Virginia Glenwood and Pedlar Ranger Districts

Removal of existing privy and installation of a new "moldering privy". The privy is associated with a shelter site along the Appalachian Trail within the Priest Wilderness. Materials will be packed in. No use of mechanized or motorized equipment.

Location

The Priest Wilderness trailhead is roughly four air miles SE of the Town of Montebello off of VA 826. The proposed privy location is approximately 0.4 miles east of trailhead.
