George Washington and Jefferson National Forests Rockingham; Shenandoah, Virginia; West Virginia George Washington and Jefferson National Forest All Units

Forest Service is proposing to conduct suppression treatments to reduce high-severity defoliation caused by the non-native, invasive spongy moth (formerly known as gypsy moth).

Location

Initial treatment areas will be located on the Lee Ranger District and additional treatments will occur on other areas of the Forest as needed.
