The Sam Houston National Forest proposes to construct a series of facilities in the Cagle recreation area. These facilities will include a fishing pier, small and medium shelter areas, and the reconstruction/construction of trails.

The Cagle Recreation Area is located in compartment 43 of the Sam Houston National Forest approximately five miles west of New Waverly, Texas
