Replacing 7 culverts and 4 bridges in order to support transportation needs for the public and forest management including wildland fire activity, timber activity, recreational use, and oil, gas, and mineral access.

Proposed activities include tree harvesting and reforestation, non-native invasive plant treatments, wildlife habitat improvements, aquatic habitat and stream improvements, and transportation improvements.

Verizon Pennsylvania proposes installation of aerial and buried fiber optic cable to provide connectivity to areas without broadband services. Approximately 38.5 miles of installation is located on National Forest System lands in the Allegheny National Forest.

The proposed action includes timber harvesting, reforestation activities, prescribed burning, invasive plant treatments, wildlife habitat improvements, watershed improvements, and road construction, maintenance, and decommissioning.

Integrated Resource Project (invasives control, veg management, and wildlife, watershed and transportation system improvements)

The Webbs Ferry has significant structural decencies and cannot be cost-effectively repaired. This proposal will demolish the pier.

To help meet Forest Plan goals and objectives, the West Sheffield Project proposes a number of vegetation management, aquatic and terrestrial habitat, invasive control and road management actions.

The Forest Service, Allegheny National Forest (ANF), proposes forest management actions within the North Spring Creek project area. The North Spring Creek project is a planned, rotational forest management project on the Marienville Ranger District.

The Marienville Rod and Gun Club is proposing to add approximately 90 feet of trout rearing runs to their existing fish hatchery. The proposal is to issue a special use permit to authorize the construction and maintenance of the additional fish runs.

Treat invasive plants and interfering vegetation to conserve native plants, wildlife habitat, and desirable vegetation. Includes a Forest Plan amendment.

Large wood treatments are proposed along 65 miles of streams but would only occur where large woody debris is lacking and overstory trees are present in sufficient densities. Beaver dam analogs are also proposed along 7.8 miles of the 65 miles.

The Allegheny National Forest is proposing an ATV/OHV connector trail on the Marienville Ranger District. The connector trail will connect Marienville, PA, to the ANF's Marienville ATV Trailhead.

This project proposes to replace 3 bridges and 1 culvert. This is a Forest wide project, with locations on both Bradford and Marienville Ranger Districts.

To remove an old bridge on an unnamed tributary to Bear Creek associated with an abandoned section of Highway 984 and restore the site.

Forest Service, Allegheny National Forest, is proposing to replace, repair, and decommission vault toilets, and enhance access to vault toilets via pathways and approaches.

Proposing to realign approximately 500 feet of trail to follow the natural contour of the slope instead of a steep downgrade and upgrade.

This project will repair and rehabilitate the Jakes Rocks Road and Day Use Recreation Site. The proposal includes reconstruction of Forest Road 492 (Jakes Rocks Road) and improvements to the Jakes Rocks day use site.

Update and modernize the Dewdrop Recreation Area with a focus on the built environment (restrooms, shower buildings, etc.)

Proposing to restore the recently acquired Tract 992TK (Thomas Life Estate) in Warrant 4042, Millstone Township, Elk County, Pennsylvania to a more natural setting.

Forest is proposing to relocate 3.45 miles of snowmobile trail for the upcoming 2022-2023 snowmobile season due to access issues. Relocation of trail will use 1.35 miles of township and forest system roads and exisitng snowmobile/ATV trail.
