Alternative 2 include regeneration harvest, intermediate harvest, regeneration harvest with opening over 40 acres, non-harvest fuel treatments, pre-commercial thinning, road decommissioning and storage, road construction and maintenance, road work to improve the watershed and recreation improvements
Location
Callahan Creek, Brush Creek, Ruby Creek, and Star Creek are the major drainages in the project area which all flow into the Kootenai River at the project area boundary. Callahan Creek Road, National Forest System Road (NFSR) 427 and the South Side Road (NFSR 4402) are major travel routes through the project area.
