Project proposes physically closing six abandoned, inactive mine features which pose the greatest physical hazard to the public on National Forest System lands on the Gunnison Ranger District and eight features on private land in cooperation with Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety.
Location
Sites are located east and southeast of the Fossil Ridge Wilderness and Recreation Management Areas.
