Pikes Peak Vegetation Management and Restoration Project

Pike-San Isabel National Forests & Cimarron and Comanche National Grasslands Douglas; El Paso; Teller, Colorado Pikes Peak Ranger District

The Forest is proposing a combination of vegetation treatments and prescribed fire to reduce hazardous fuel loading and fire intensity while enhancing forest health and resiliency across the Pikes Peak Ranger District.

Location

The project area is located within El Paso, Teller, and Douglas Counties within the Pikes Peak Ranger District of the PSICC. The project boundary is located within the South Platte and Arkansas watersheds and associated tributaries.
