Pike-San Isabel National Forests & Cimarron and Comanche National Grasslands Douglas; El Paso; Jefferson; Park, Colorado South Platte Ranger District

The Forest Service proposes to use vegetation treatments such as tree thinning, prescribed burning, and/or other fuel reduction methods on appx. 116,600 acres to reduce the intensity of fires and create healthier forest conditions.

Location

Project area is in the foothills of the Colorado Front Range, east of the town of Shawnee, south of Conifer, west of Sedalia, and north of Woodland Park
