The purpose of this project is to reduce spread of insects through implementation of regulated timber harvesting to utilize commercially valuable hardwood and softwood species within the project analysis area, decrease vegetation density, decrease wildfire risk, and improve forest health.

Elk Creek and Conejos River drainages, near the north side of La Manga Pass, CO.
