The Forest Service proposes to issue special use authorizations to Kit Carson Electric Cooperative for installation, operation, and maintenance of new fiber‑optic telecommunications lines within existing electric utility rights‑of‑way on the Carson and Santa Fe National Forests.
Location
The proposed project is located in Rio Arriba County, New Mexico, along a preexisting utility corridor administered by JMEC, beginning in Gallina and ending in Hernandez, New Mexico.
